Its is a co-educational English medium campus affiliated to National Examination Board Nepal. |
ELIGIBILITY FOR ADMISSION |
The student seeking admission to this campus should have passed S.E.E.
examination securing at least GPA 2 with
strong back ground in English,Science and
Mathematics.
The entrance examination for admission to Physical/Biological groups would be
for 100 Marks.
The paper would be common for 30 Marks in Science ,40 marks in Mathematics and
30 marks in English. |
ADMISSION PROCEDURES & FORMALITIES |
Admission Forms |
Application Forms for the purpose along with the Prospectus can be obtained from
Campus Administration Office on Payment of RSs.200/- |
Application forms should reach the Campus Office by the submission
deadline,failing which the campus will not be responsible for admission. |
Admission Requisites |
The appicant should enclose the following with the application form. |
-S.E.E. marksheet in ORIGINAL with 2 photo copies |
-School Leaving Certificate in ORIGINAL with 2 photo copies |
-Conduct Certificate in ORIGINAL with 2 photo copies. |
-Four Passport size photographs. |
Admissin Test |
-Applicant will be required to appear for an entrance
examination designed to evaluate their abilities and aptitude for he Programme. |
Selection |
Final selection for admission will be based on the
applicant's previous academic performance and the marks obtained in the
admission test. |
Applicants who fulfill the admission creteria are eligible
for registration in Dhnusha Science Campus and their names will be placed on the
campus notice board and on its website,which is http//www.dsc.edu.np. |
ADMISSION SCHEDULE |
In the beginning of each New Academic session,the campus
announces the details of admission schedule in a separate leaflet and in the
local Newspapers or FMs or TVs. |

MODE OF PAYMENT |
Tuition fees will be charged for 12 months in 6 installments each of
Rs.4000/-. |
Tuition fees must be paid from 1st to 5th of each month,otherwise late fine will
be charged. |
Non payment of fees for two months may result in the expulsion of the students. |
Rs. 2000/- will be charged for Character certificate/transfer certificate.No
T.C. wull be issued until all dues have been paid. |
EXAMINATIONS |
1.Home assigments/Monthly test: Home
assignments are given to the students for the preparation of questions based on
National.Examination Board covering the syllabus dealt within the four weeks of
each month. |
2.Terminal examinations: These examinations are
held at the intervals of every two month on the syllabus covered in that period
with 3 hours duration. |
3.Pre-Final Examinations:These examinations are held
on the complete syllabus on alternate days with each paper of 3 hours duration
almost to the end of month magh. |
4.N.E. Board Examinations: Only those students who
show appreciable performance in the above mentioned examinations will be
qualified to appear in the N E Board Examination. |
NOTE:-Its is compulsary for all the students to appear in
all tests and examinations taken by the campus.If a student is absent for any of
the tests or examinations,he/she will be marked absent for it and so re-test
will be taken,whatever be the reason for the absence. |
SCHOLARSHIP- |
The tuition fee of the month in which student would
secure top marks in any of the above examinations will be waived.Scholarships
will be also provided to poor,intelligent and physically handicapped students on
the recommendation of the Scholarship Committe.Students securing GPA more than 3.5 in S.E.E examination deserve the scholarship of two installments free
tuition fee for one year.Students from unprivileged sections of the society are
also considered for scholarship. |
MERIT PRIZES- |
The follwing Merit prizes are given to few desrving
students on the basis of their academic progress general conduct and overall
performance.

STUDENT COUNCIL |
The council is a non -political,elected or appointed body
of DSC Students which functions under the guidence of the Students Council
Moderator or Principal for the welfare of the students.Its main functions are.
1. To represent students to the DSC Management.
2. To assist management in organizing different extra
curricular activities,viz,Students Get-Together,Wel-come parties,Talent
Nite,Spring Festival,Elocusion,Debates,Talk programs,Sports.etc.
3. To publish the DSC-Newletter and magazine etc.

INSTRUCTIONS TO STUDENTS/PARENTS |
1. Students/Parents are bound to abide by the rules and
regulations,which are enforced from time to time.
2.Parents/Guardinas are not allowed to meet their wards
during the class hours.
3.Punctuality and regularity of the students will be
observed stricktly. 80% attendance is essential in each subject.Pre-information
must be given if any student has to remain absent.
4. Any kind of damage/breakage caused by the student to
campus property will have to be compensated by the students involved in it.
5.The campus fees must ba paid well - within the time
specified.
6. Any student misbehaving towards the lecturers or using
harsh language is liable for the issue of Transfer Certificate at the discretion
of the management .
7. Any kind of undersirable activity in or outside the
campus will result in expulsion of the student from the campus without any
consideration and prior notice.
8. Boots,canvas shoes,casual slippers,heel shoes,colorful
socks,jeans,T-shirts,jackets and other fancy dresses will not be allowed in the
DSC premises.
10.No electronic goods except educational materials are
allowed to be brought in the campus.
11. Students must not bring any kind of books,periodicals
or magazines of any objectionable nature.
12. Clarifications/Complaints/Comments/suggestions of any
kind may be sought/lodged with the Principal/Director.

STUDENTS ID CARD |
The campus issues ID card to all students at the time of
admission.Without ID card no student will be allowed to enter the DSC premises.A
fee of Rs.100/-is charged for the replacement of ID card.The card is valid for
one academic year. |
LIBRARY |
The campus provides the facility of library for its
students and teaching staff.The well stocked library with a wide range of
reading and reference materials equally contributes to the students in
their productive studies and to the teacing staff in their effective
teaching.Students must return the library books within the specified period
otherwise late fine will be charged. |
